Mackenzie Teno - Instructor and Choreographer

Mackenzie began dancing with the Ireland Academy at the age of 3, has 15 years of dance training, and 11 years of competitive dance. Mackenzie is trained in a variety of genres that include Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Pointe, and Lyrical.
Mackenzie has completed numerous examinations under the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and British Association Teachers of Dancing (BATD). In 2012 Mackenzie became a certified dance instructor when she passed her BATD teaching examination in Stage. Mackenzie also completed her Intermediate RAD Examination.
Mackenzie has been teaching dance since 2012, and began choreographing for the Performance Dancetroop in 2014. Mackenzie’s love for teaching extends well beyond the dance studio. Mackenzie holds an Honours degree in Science from Trent University and a Bachelors of Education from Queen’s University.
