Invitation to National Tap Team

Congratulations to our very own Jessica Williams for earning herself a spot on the 2018 Canadian National Junior Tap Team. She was scouted after a phenomenal performance at Northern Dance Stars Competition. The team will be preparing for the International Dance Organization (IDO) World Tap Dance set for November 26 to December 2 in Riesa, Germany.

The IDO has a membership of more than 90 nations, representing over 250,000 dancers from six continents. The World Dance Championship format is Olympic-style with only one gold, silver and bronze being presented on the podium with the world champions’ national anthem being played as the top three medalist flags are raised. The best dancers from around the world will be competing for the World Champion title.
